About Boldglen

Boldglen was founded by Tom and Anne Cunningham in 1988, originally providing carers for care homes and others in need of care.

In 1991 we established the Boldglen Home Care Agency and piloted the care in the community scheme, now used across the whole of the UK.

We are registered with UKHCA, the Care Quality Commission and the Kent Integrated Care Alliance, and work with Kent and Medway Councils. We employ around 100 carers, all trained to NVQ level 2-3 and subject to Enhanced DBS checks, wearing full uniform with ID badges.

We specialise in caring for older people, those with physical disabilities or terminal illness, people with sensory impairment, and anyone who needs a hand with domestic tasks.
